What makes a good reference photo? How can I get the most out of a reference photo that is not so good? When should/shouldn’t I use someone else’s photos? Where can I find reference photos?

Join artist and photographer Lara Strazdas to discuss the answers to these questions and much more in this informative talk/demonstration.

Learn how to take good reference photos without using professional equipment, how to save a “so-so” reference photo, as well as using multiple photos for one project. We will also discuss how to use photo editing software to create the reference you want, plus many more tips and tricks to getting the most out of photo references.

Bring something to take notes with and any reference photos you have questions about.

If you have any questions prior to the workshop, please contact Lara via email: wildfx@charter.com
