Intuitive painting describes art that is guided by the artist's reaction to the process of art while it is being created. During this demo, Cheryl will choose from a selection of surfaces, subject matter and design templates she prepared ahead of time to begin her demonstration.
As she begins to construct her painting, she will be responding to each color, shape, image, medium and mark making as it is added. Understanding value, color and edges are key in developing a finished work of art that is as exciting to make as it is to view.
