STUDIO Z/ASHLAND - DEB VAN POOLEN: REALISTIC DRAWING

Cancellation Policy: Class cancellations made within two weeks of the start date will NOT be refunded (exceptions may be considered on an individual basis for unforeseen emergencies).


No prior experience is required. All skill levels are welcome.


Learn to draw what you see! In this class students will follow simple instructions to learn how to draw the world around them. In each phase of the class they will learn various techniques to practice at home in order to deepen their learning during and after the class completes. A combination of right and left brain drawing techniques will be introduced and/or reviewed in each class.

Much of the class will be held outside. Students will draw wild and garden plants in accurate proportions, as well as landscape views and buildings in proper perspective.




MATERIALS

Very simple supplies are needed for the class, including:

- kneaded eraser
- a small and a large drawing pad
- a few drawing pencils.

Students can come to the first class with whatever drawing supplies they already have or none at all, then see what supplies to bring to the following class.
