The Second Annual Mural Fest drew quite the crowds over the weekend of June 21-22. Held in Ashland, Oregon at ScienceWorks Hands-On Museum, Mural Fest is presented by Brothers Grime.

Seventeen mural artists completed their own massive murals over the two-day period, working tirelessly - even during a torrential downpour on Day One!

The weather could not dampen anyone's spirits, as even more people turned out to the event on its second day (a sunny and warm affair). Attendees could be seen enjoying the mural painting, listening to live music by featured local bands, and eating delicious food from several vendors. They even participated in Central Art's giant Paint-By-Number mural activity which invited anyone with a passion for art to join in the fun!

The event's organizers Jarrett Rex Davidson and his brother Rhino believe that "public art is of utmost importance for the Southern Oregon community because of universal accessibility to encounter and celebrate locally driven creativity." Central Art shares that belief, and we were happy and proud to be a part of their event.
